Is the QR menu really free?
Yes. The QR menu and menu management are free forever - no credit card, no time limit. Guests see your dishes, photos, prices and allergen icons in one language. Kalanteer Cloud is the paid, optional part.
Do guests need an app?
No. Guests scan the code and the menu opens in their phone's browser - no app, no login.
Can I change prices after it's live?
Yes. Change a price in Kalanteer and guests see it within about a minute. Same QR code, no reprinting.
Do I have to type my whole menu?
No. Snap a photo, upload a PDF or paste a link, and Kalanteer reads your menu. Or build it from the dish library. You check everything and set the prices.
Can Kalanteer show what each dish costs me?
Yes, with Kalanteer Cloud. From Sous-Chef, every dish is costed from your own recipes and what you pay suppliers, with the margin next to its price. The free menu has no cost numbers - the estimates you see while you build are a rough guide.
What happens to my data if I leave?
It stays yours. Cancel Kalanteer Cloud and your data is kept - your free QR menu keeps working. Leaving for good? Ask us and we'll delete it all.
